Keith Yanes is a musician and educator currently living in Minneapolis. He holds a BA in Jazz Performance from The University of Minnesota Duluth.
Breaking out in 2004, Keith performed primarily as a solo artist for several years. Yanes gradually moved toward a busier schedule as a freelance bass player, becoming more versatile while collaborating on many different projects through a wide range of genres.
More recently, aside from gigging and teaching, he has been honing his new original sound through styles of R&B/Pop/Funk and utilizing a voice that you won’t hear on any previous recordings of his. He plans to release his new music in early 2016.

Keith’s roots with the bass runs deep. He released a solo album on Crabwise called “Gadget of Four” in 2005.
